Pain in Both Kidneys

A few years ago I hurt my back at work and had to have surgery to correct a problem with the bottom two disks. Since then an occasional twinge but no serious problems. Well, last week I went and played nine holes of golf with my father-in-law and my wife, then I went and played four games of bowling with my in-laws, then I went to cut my mother's grass. The next day, my lower back was so sore that it was difficult for me to even get out of a chair without help. That pain got better after a day or two, but the area in which my kidneys are located still causes me discomfort. The left side is worst than the right. I don't know for sure if it is the kidneys. Only that the pain is where the kidneys are located. Any suggestions?

I have constant severe pain on my lower back particulary when asleep. The pain changes with my movements to either sides of the body. If I sleep on the right side the pain moves to the right and vice versa and it is severe. I have consulted seral physicians to no avail. Have tested for kidney, stones, pleural fusion spine and results are that none o fthe above could be detected, but the pain never subsides. Can you please help.

My pain is on my lower left back side. The pain is getting worse. Sometimes the pain is unbearable. Sometimes I can't sleep on my left side because of the pain. I don't know for sure if it is my kidneys, but the pain is where my kidneys are located.
