Pain in the Right Kidney

For three days now I have had pain in the right kidney area but do not have any bladder infection symptoms. The pain seems to be getting worse, and, sometimes, after sitting down for a period of time, getting up is excruciating. Any help here? Thank you. Maggie

Maggie, to me this sounds like you have a kidny stone for sure you need to go to the doctor and have them take a urine sample for blood or infection.

Maggie:

For years I have had pain in the kidney area, especially the right kidney. There is no bladder or kidney infection present. However, I have a couple of problems that cause pain in that area. First, I had severe endometriosis that affected the uterus, colon, and bladder, and the pain in my kidney area was present on both sides and very painful. It got better after having the endometriosis removed and a hysterectomy, but still acts up on occasion. Second, I have fibromyalgia, which can ache in the kidney area. I also have some other immune system stuff that goes on and causes pain in that area.
